What is MFA? How does it work on your device?

Modified on Fri, 02 Jun 2023 at 03:26 PM

You may be asked to verify your Microsoft user account for Outlook, OneDrive, Office, or Portal/SharePoint when you are not at a district site.

When you open a Microsoft program on your personal computer, phone, or tablet, a code will be sent to your registered authentication device.*  The most common option for an authentication device is a smartphone.

*New employees will have their cell number entered as their registered device when their district account is created.

*If you have trouble with authentication, click here to put in a helpdesk ticket and a tech will contact you to get your account reset.

After you enter your username and password, you will prompted to verify your account
