What is MFA? How does it work on your device?

Modified on Thu, Dec 12, 2024 at 10:47 AM

You may be asked to verify your Microsoft user account for Outlook, OneDrive, Office, or Portal/SharePoint when you are not at a district site.

When you open a Microsoft program on your personal computer, phone, or tablet, a call will be sent to your cell phone from the District’s main number (928-505-6900).

When you answer, you will hear a Microsoft recording with instructions on how to authenticate your log in.

Press the pound (#) key on your phone to authenticate. You should receive a “successful” response and the screen on your phone or computer will open the selected program.

If you have trouble with authentication, click here to put in a helpdesk ticket and a tech will contact you to get your account reset.

*New employees will have their cell number entered as their registered device when their district account is created.
