Resetting Password (after submitting a ticket)

IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE THE DISTRICT THEN…

 

1.  If you have added an lhusd account to your phone, then first, TURN OFF YOUR CELL PHONE until this process is complete.

2. Next, got to webmail at https://webmail.lhusd.org/owa and login like this:

                       Username: LHUSD\first initial last name ex: jsmith

       Temporary Password:  xxxxxxxx

3. It triggers you to put in a new password of your own. It must contain at least 8 characters.

· An upper case letter

· A lower case letter.

· A number or special character.

· It cannot contain any part of your name

4. Once this is done, make sure you click SUBMIT

5. After you are logged in, turn your cell phone back on and change the email password in your phone

 

IF YOU ARE USING A COMPUTER AT A DISTRICT SITE

 

1.  If you have added an lhusd account to your phone, then first, TURN OFF YOUR CELL PHONE until this process is complete.

2. Login like this:

                            User name:  first initial last name ex: jsmith

                            Temporary password:  xxxxxxxx

3. It triggers you to put in a new password of your own.   It must contain at least 8 characters.

· An upper case letter

· A lower case letter.

· A number or special character.

· It cannot contain any part of the username

4. Once this is done, click enter

5. After you are logged in, turn your cell phone back on and change the email password in your phone
